Amite County announces new website

LIBERTY, MS., April 22, 2009 – The Board of Supervisors of Amite County recently announced the launch of the county’s new website, www.amitecounty.ms.
"We’re really excited about this new website,” stated Ronny Taylor, Amite County Chancery Clerk. “Visitors can now see all the wonderful things going on in our area, and get valuable information about our elected officials and departments.” He stated that the site also has news, frequently asked questions, and an events calendar, so residents have access to vital information whenever they want it, right at their fingertips.
Mr. Taylor added that their website is a reflection of the attractions in the county. “Amite County is a great place to live and visit. Now, web users throughout the nation can see what this area has to offer.”
The website was designed and programmed by U.S. NetworX. “We are thrilled to have the opportunity to help the citizens of Amite County,” stated Meg Martin, U.S. NetworX vice president of sales and marketing. “With an informative website like this, the county doesn’t run the risk of being overlooked for economic development.
